WAR POINTS
So I’m sure you've all heard me say “war points here.. war points there…” everyone helps the war effort. And a few of you have asked me how that’s going to work..
So I figured I’d let you all know.
You don’t choose a side for the entire event. If you feel more English when you are at the archery range; register as English but then later on if you feel like you wanna throw axes like a Spaniard, you can do that too. “But” you may ask, “how will that win a war!?”
It’s quite simple really for everything you do there are points attached. Volunteers get oodles of points. Winners of tournaments get oodles of points. Did you attend a class? Well guess what? You got points for that! Did you TEACH a class? Points, points and more points!!
At the end of each day I shall be collecting the tallies from all the activity marshals (volunteers are the charges of the gate keeper) and figuring out how many points per side the day has achieved. Then in the morning I’ll post it on the general information board (that will be conveniently located at the tree line that separates the camping zone and the activity zone) so that all may see who is in the lead. Sounds kinda fun eh?
The goal is to get everyone involved and to have oodles (that’s the word of the day!) of fun.
